I do understand how my grandparents devoted their entire Lives to stewarding the land every acre by hand n I am thankful I can Remember the days n days on end moving pipes n the manure pit the dairy n spending summers here alone n all the ways it used to Be Before it Became a fully sustainable certified organic ranch n winery
I am thankful to See what it looks like to dedicate an entire LifeTime to something “unpretentiously” as they would say
to work hard as a family n to share your Hearts work with your community
we are forever indebted to the Dakubetede soil n to the two very particular Earth signs whose Love for each other n this planet raised all of us
n we have so much to learn as a family
but its a blessing to me to Be country on both sides
