5 months of kindergarten Homeschooling chaos n Love :’)
I am thankful I Trusted us on this one
the faith it takes in the midst of uncertainty to pave a new Path is real real a whole Trust fall
I Know this is what we needed after last summer to heal
protecting my suns health n keeping doors open for our future is both Freeing n isolating
some days the ~mom guilt~ hits like I made a huge mistake other days I look into the future n I Know this way is the only way
the decisions I have made for my Body n my family over the last 5 years put me in a voluntary place of political n Spiritual exile
one I continue to stand ten toes on business about
I am led by something bigger than me n I Trust that inner Knowing now more than ever I Trust my childs (n all childrens) words n needs
Samadhi is 5 he jus Loves to Be Free n close to his family he spends most of his Time running reading building things n cuddling his cat brother nine9
he recently started cooking n going to car shows with his Baba
the hardest part (as a very antisocial neurodivergent person) has Been taking on the responsibility of my lil ones social Life n extracurricular explorations while balancing my own livelihood our Home / land + a new n healing relationship n having few people around with an honorable n liberating vision for children
most people still stuck in their own broken childhood n fell for the myths about resources I have compassion bc same but
I am committed to Change
I spent my early career years learning how to learn n how to build the sustainable future of education n I guess it was not that different than this
it was preparation
I arrive to this revolutionary moment with wisdom n Lived experience
watching a group of 5 year olds hold their own virtual morning meetings is inspiring n Heartwarming n very strange
they Be like “wait let me unmute” n raising their lil emoji hands
we do lots of printing typing n scanning
I look forward to finally meeting his Teacher n (virtual) classmates irl this month n continuing to align with our Homeschooling tribe wherever they are
I am in no rush
here we are in the future
